ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Joe Schupbach is a writer, director, and dramaturg with 19 years of professional theatre and storytelling experience. Schupbach is also a K-12 teacher, professor, and instructional coach.Â
Yasmine Roukiaya is an All-from-else-where American by way of Lebanon, Appalachia, whatsapp & dried out pens. Her work examining the nexus of being and bending of genre can be found in MQR, Mizna, The Black Warrior Review, The Margins, Gulf Coast & elsewhere. She lives in Dearborn with her two sons.Â
Stephanie Lane Sutton is from Detroit and has also lived in Chicago and Miami. Her poetry and prose has appeared in The Adroit Journal, Black Warrior Review, The Offing, Prairie Schooner, and others. Her chapbook, Shiny Insect Sex, is the inaugural installment in Bull City Press's Inch Series. A second chapbook, God Girl, is forthcoming from Pitymilk Press.
Melissa Dettloff is a printmaker and teaching artist based in Detroit. Her current work is inspired by urban ecology and creating community through art. Melissa has been teaching art and screen printing workshops for over ten years and maintains an art practice in her home print studio. She has shown her work nationally and locally, including at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
